Sunday School at QCOG is one of the most important activities of the church. Being the most effective program to put the Great Commission in action through the Church and to lead our next generation to the Lord and help them grow deep rooted in the Word of God we spare no effort in providing quality Sunday School education.

area cell groups

A cell is where a small group of people meet together to pray, to study the Word of God and to disciple. QCOG ministers to families and believers through cell groups. Through our cell groups, we develop leaders and help our believers achieve a greater spiritual walk with our Lord. These cell groups work under the leadership of our pastors and gather together as a need occurs for each group. To be a part of a cell group or to find the nearest one please contact us.

Young Women of hope

Women play a great role in the Kingdom of God. We young women of Queens Church of God are motivated to join together and be women of great faith and destiny. Our goals are to pray for, teach, motivate, and counsel each other. Beyond that, our desire is to reach out to our communities, and help other ladies be the women God called them to be. Through the use of the Bible, Christian literature, and study guides, our aim is to learn more about Christ, expand our vision, be accountable to each other, preach God's love to the world, develop the ministries we each have, and live in a manner that is pleasing and acceptable to the Lord.

women's ministry

The QCOG Women’s Ministry caters to the needs of the women in our fellowship. This group meets once a month to conduct meetings and organize times of prayer in numerous cell groups. This ministry strives to develop leaders in more intimate settings to ultimately train our women to minister to the individual needs of others. Our women’s group embarks on various outreach projects and home visits.

powerhouse prayer & counseling

Our Prayer and Counseling Ministry acknowledges the importance of ministering to individuals on a one-on-one basis. “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone.." 1 Timothy 2:1-2 We believe that Jesus Christ is the only one who can truly release a wounded person from bondages. This does not invalidate the role of the counselor/pastor as a listener, intercessor and/or instructor of biblical knowledge and Godly living but acknowledges that apart from Christ we are ineffective in accomplishing God’s desire for bringing lasting peace and genuine victory to the wounded soul.

men's ministry

The Men’s Ministry mission is to serve and edify our church and community by encouraging men in the pursuit of and promoting of biblical manhood through teaching, events, and ministry unique to men. We believe men and women are equal as persons before God and yet unique and different by creation. Both Adam and Eve were created in God’s image yet given distinct roles and responsibilities (Genesis 1:26-27, 2:18). In his distinct roles and responsibilities, man is called to lead, protect, and provide in varying ways according to his relationships. This call to lead expresses itself rightly as men seek to serve and sacrifice for the good of others, following the example of Christ and exhibiting true greatness (Mark 10:42-45). Embracing biblical manhood includes turning from the sins of passivity and domineering. Moreover, all men are called to serve and lead others (Luke 22:26). Therefore, the QCOG Men’s Ministry seeks to encourage the pursuit and promotion of biblical manhood in the life of each man, though its expression will different according to his relationships.

c a r e ministries

C.A.R.E. team is a group of ministers working with the leadership to help individual believers with spiritual and family needs. C.A.R.E stands for Contact Assist Relate Encourage. They connect and pray with every member as needed. Each week the team contacts families and shares the vision of the church to help them achieve the plan and purpose of God in their lives. A personal relationship with the ministerial and pastoral team is a vital part in meeting the needs of every person that attends QCOG. To contact a C.A.R.E team leader contact the pastor.

QCOG TITANS

The young people at Queens Church of God have long been part of a history of excellence in athletics, as well. Known collectively as the Titans, the men's basketball team began modestly as a group of friends playing and practicing together. Since then, the team, which includes friends from a variety of neighboring churches, has won multiple championships and competed at a number of high profile tournaments. In 2004, the team brought home its first of two PYFA Championships, with the second coming in 2012. Over the years, the look of the team has changed as one generation passes the torch to the next, but the bonds of brotherhood and teamwork continue to be the driving force of this team. While one focus always remains on basketball, the greater focus is to develop young men of godly character who will strive to stand out for their abilities off the court; To develop a generation of titans who will rise above the temptation to be ordinary

Youth Small Groups

With so many young people struggling with an empty heart and searching for something to fill the void, the youth of Queens Church of God seek to share the love of Christ with the world. Under the banner "Called to stand, Called to serve, and Called to send", the youth ministry of Queens Church of God, hopes to ignite a passion that enables young people to stand on the Word of God, serve others and complete God's great commission.
